The extension of an existing house is developed as a series of single-storey, flat-roofed volumes that open the existing building towards the garden. Natural stone, timber and generous openings connect old and new, creating fluid transitions between interior and exterior spaces.

Alignment, overlap and spatial definition shape the composition of the extension: the new volumes follow the lines of the existing building, deliberately intersect them and frame the garden as the new centre of the house.

By reorganising the ground floor, extending the living areas and introducing a new swimming pool, house and garden become a coherent ensemble. The design continues into the interiors and into individually designed details, creating a consistent architectural language that brings together spatial concept, materiality and design.
